Release Notes 222.2.0

To determine what to download, check your current installs for all your licensed products and make note of the date and release number on the About screen in your EMS software. Download and install the latest updates from the table below. Any download links for which you are licensed will be available to you once you are logged into Accruent Access.

To ensure your users are benefiting from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, we recommend that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.

You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.

You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

The Downloads area of Accruent Access offers an alternative view of your licensed releases, organized by product. To view the Downloads area, log into Accruent Access and navigate to My Products > EMS Downloads (opens a new tab) > (Release) Releases & Patches.

Calendaring page not available

In Platform Admin, the Calendaring page renders correctly and any Group selected for the Default Group configuration shows as expected.

Google JSON

If Google Workspace integration configuration is available in Platform Admin, the Choose File button is available. Users can select a file from their local machine. The Save button then commits the JSON file to the database and encrypts it as expected.

  • Create account – You can use the keyboard to navigate and interact with the following:

  • Zoom pages past 200% – You can zoom the Edit a Reservation and My Account pages past 200% up to 400% without losing functionality.
  • Password reset reCaptcha – When you change your password, the Captcha page displays. All elements interact with the space bar, tab, and the screen reader focuses on and reads each item. Tab to the options at the bottom of the page and use space bar to select Reset, Hear, or Information.

  • Read password strength – When you create your password, the screen reader announces the password strength checker.
  • Vertical scroll bar – In all My Account tabs, the vertical scroll bar is available regardless of the page content and zoom magnification. You can navigate through all elements by scrolling with the mouse or using the keyboard.

  • Personalization settings – When you edit in Personalization > Filters or Personalization > Templates, you can use the keyboard to navigate and focus on input fields, dialog windows, and sortable tables and actions. You can also know which tab is active and can change tabs using the space bar. The screen reader focuses on and announces all elements, including tabs.
  • Account details fields – In My Account > Account Details, the screen reader focuses on and announces all fields and the data entered by the user. Required fields and the new password indicator are also announced. If there are errors on the page, the screen reader announces the error message shown below the field in error. For example, if a user enters passwords that don’t match or leaves a required field blank and then tries to save, the screen reader announces the error locations.

  • My Account Navigation – In My Account you can access all navigation tabs and menu items using the keyboard. The screen reader focuses on and announces all tab headers, menu items, and active items.
  • Add services – In Edit a Reservation > Manage Services, you can use the keyboard to add services to a reservation. All functions are accessible via the keyboard. The screen reader focuses on and announces all functions.
  • Filter by Location and Favorite Rooms – You can use the space bar to interact with the Filter by Location button. The screen reader focuses on and reads all elements on the Favorite Rooms tab.
   

Set default features

EMS-15221

If features are filtered when you open the floor plan, the rooms that have the features available are the only ones that display. When you click a pin in the floor plan, the features display in a window. If multiple features exist, they're separated by commas.

The reservation start and end dates correctly correspond with the bookings as they are added and canceled.

Web App title displays twice

When Help Text is configured for the application title, that text now appears once next to the logo on the EMS Web app home page. The Reservation Created text fully displays.

Booking conflict

EMS-15331, EMS-16337

Available rooms no longer result in conflict status when you approve a booking in conflict. Requested bookings now move to confirmed status and conflicted bookings remain in conflict status until resolved.

.ics file error

EMS- 17174

You can generate .ics file in Edit a Reservation to display the correct time for central time zone bookings.

In Edit Bookings, the Select all checkbox now gets refreshed after updating the bookings.

Browse Locations Booking
